What makes the difference when choosing a battery product or the full range of technological components that are needed for a successful storage project? And which choices can be made in a constantly changing technical environment?

A panel about “technological progress and risk reduction – what to consider when choosing a component?” Try to answer these crucial questions and at the same time give a look at current technological trends.

According to Daniel Duckwitz, product manager for raster stability at SMA Solar Technology, new and improved BES’s can make a significant contribution to increasing the slowness of the grid. “Batteries can offer grid -forming control with slowness emulation,” he said, noted that an optimized Bess with 1 GW of nominal current up to 18 GW can offer slowness.
