The American International Trade Commission has brought a confirmatory determination in its anti -dumping and countervailing obligation (AD/CVD) research into silicon solar cells and panels from Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.

The confirming final decision of the ITC that the American industry has been damaged by the import from Southeast Asia means that customs and border protection (CBP) can start collecting tasks on the product in less than a month. De Dept. Or Commerce released its last tariff calculations last month. Rates for import from Cambodia vary from 650% to 3,500%; Malaysian rates range from 14% to 250%; Thai rates vary from 375% to 972%; And Vietnamese rates range from 120% to 813%. Amounts for the company can be found here.

This investigation began after a petition from a group of American manufacturers, known as the American Alliance for Solar Manufacturing Trade Committee, was submitted in April 2024. The group claimed that mainly Chinese sun companies in Southeast Asia worked to prevent existing rates on Chinese goods. The group also said that the Chinese companies were subsidized by the governments of the four countries to work in Southeast Asia and then dumped products on the American market at prizes with which domestic manufacturers could not compete.

The ITC agreed with the petitioners and the import of solar energy from Southeast Asia with new rates on top of all the national rates that have already been initiated by the Trump administration.

“Today’s mood will undoubtedly remain: this Chinese headquarters considers companies to overwhelm trade laws by overwhelming with unfair, dumped and subsidized solar panels and continue to do this of external markets around the world, said American industrial strategy and stunt of Wiley’s international trading practice of Wiley of Wiley of Wiley of Wiley of Wiley of Wiley of Wiley of Wiley of Wiley of Wiley of Wiley of Wiley of Wiley of Wiley of Wiley of Wiley of Wiley of Wiley Practice of Wiley of Wiley of Wiley of Wiley Practice of Wiley Practice of Wiley Practice of Wiley Practice of Wiley Practice of Wiley Practice of Wiley Practice of Wiley Praktijkijk. Advocacy Group Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), which testified to the ITC to the submitters, said that today’s confirmatory decision “concerning American solar energy manufacturers and the wider American solar industry” is.

“The final affirmative injury of the ITC adds an extra low rates that will increase the costs for the solar products that American companies need to build projects and grow domestic production,” said Seia President and CEO Abigail Ross Hopper. “Today, American solar cell production is growing for the first time in years, but it is still not on the scale that is needed to meet the demand. This provision in particular damages the American solar mode producers that depend on access to imported solar cells while we impose the production capacity of inland Celimport in this stadium and on -stage and in the stadium in the stadium and on -stage undermining the question of the question of the question of the high demand of the high question of the very question of the very enterprise. “

Input from the four countries had fallen considerably pending high tariff amounts.

Mike Carr, executive director of the Solar Energy Manufacturers for America (SEMA) Coalition, has released the following explanation:

“With this decision, the non-party-bound international trade committee confirmed for the third time that companies in Chinese ownership continue to deceive our trade laws and undermine American solar energy manufacturers. This statement is a step forward in tackling China’s continuous efforts to end the reconstruction to be undermined as the legislative proposal will be put into the legislative proposal Before they are even completely open to open.
