Spain’s Iberdrola, via his Perseo Startup program, works together with Ances to launch an innovation program for startups and entrepreneurs in the sun sector.

The program strives for solutions that reduce costs, improve sustainability or enable the integration of photovoltaic systems in various environments.

Startups and entrepreneurs are invited to submit their solutions, with one winning entry that has the opportunity to work with Iberdrola on a pilot project and possibly to scale their technology.

The website of Iberdrola emphasizes interest areas for the program, including buildings-integrated solar panels (BIPV), solutions that improve integration with nature, also in agricultural environments and innovations that optimize the construction, operation, maintenance or recycling of PV systems.

Applications are open until March 7 via the Ances Open Innovation websiteEligible for PV hardware and software projects.

Finalists will be selected on April 23 and present their projects at the Ances Open Innovation Final Event in Madrid in May.
