CDIL Semiconductors has launched the first indigenous indigenous bypass diodes from India, stimulating the efficiency and lifespan of solar panel. The company expanded its capacity with 25 million units with the new line.

Bypass diodes maintain uninterrupted power flow in solar panels by having the electricity circumvented, improving the energy yield and extending the lifespan. Shadow, dust accumulation and electrical disruptions often reduce the performance of the solar panel.

“The achievement of real energy independence starts with high-quality semiconductor components produced in their own country. At CDIL we have led India’s evolution for decades and launching the first native solar -diodes of the country is a milestone in that journey, ”said PritheVidep Singh, general manager of CDIL Semiconductors. “By promoting solar technology, we not only strengthen the ecosystem of India’s renewable energy, but we also ensure that our innovations stimulate the self -reliance of the nation and global competitiveness in solutions for clean energy.”

CDIL produces the diodes in his facility in Mohali, India.

“Developed with the leading low forward voltage decrease and high thermal stability, Cdil’s Zonne-Bypass diodes have been optimized for the extreme weather conditions of India,” the company said. “Manufactured using advanced automation techniques, offer these diodes a cost -effective alternative to imported components, so that India can reduce its dependence on semiconductor imports and at the same time improve the performance of fast -growing solar selection infrastructure.”
