Gordian Energy Systems has completed a 595 kW solar system at the Maryland SoccerPlex in Boyds, Maryland. New Energy Equity was the project’s development company.

The Maryland SoccerPlex features 24 professionally maintained fields and 66,000 feet of terrain2 field house. It is a popular venue for youth and amateur football, as well as other sports such as lacrosse, rugby, hockey and ultimate frisbee. The SoccerPlex is currently home to two professional teams, the Maryland Bobcats of the National Independent Soccer League and Old Glory DC of Major League Rugby. It is renowned for its high-quality facilities and resources, making it the destination of choice for regional football events.

Gordian Energy Systems completed the project during the complex’s normal operating hours.
