Nautilus Solar moves the New Jersey headquarters to Illinois

Nautilus Zonne -EnergyA National Community Solar Company, moves its company head office from New Jersey to Chicago, Illinois and brings its activities closer to various priority regions.

This summer, Nautilus is planning to add 29 MW of Solar Energy to the Illinois-Grid-by 10 MW is devoted to reducing energy bills for a low income of households. The following year alone, Nautilus expects to build more than 100 MW extra solar capacity for Illinois. The development of extra projects continues until 2027 and then.

“Community Solar continues to play a crucial role in complying with the growing energy needs of the country, and Illinois, together with various of the adjacent States, is central to that momentum,” said Jeffrey Cheng, CEO of Nautilus. “Moving our headquarters to Chicago reinforces our dedication to supporting regional growth, while we still allow us to serve our core legacy markets. I am enthusiastic about the continuous expansion of Nautilus, where our team has a real economic impact for the communities and subscribers we serve.”

While Nautilus remains a remote for the first company, Chicago’s head office will serve as a regional hub for project development, finance and subscribers management.

Nautilus currently owns and operates nearly 500 MW operational capacity in 146 projects in 12 states, with more than 45,000 Community-Sonne-subscribers of whom many are with a low to moderate income households. As a company, Nautilus supervises development, financing and long -term activities.

“We are proud to help families to lower their energy costs, while we also contribute to a stronger, more resilient energy letter. An office in Chicago emphasizes the investment of Nautilus in its communities,” said Courtney Matssalse, Chief Legal & Administrative Officer of Nautilus.
