Oil and gas pipeline company builds first Texas Solar Farm

Enbridge continues to invest in solar energy, because the company that is known for its oil and gas piping activities has cut the ribbon on a PV project in Corpus Christi, Texas. On June 4, Enbridge Sponsored a ribbon cutting ceremony in Jim Wells County, on the occasion of a milestone event: the Orange Grove Solar project of the company now supplies clean energy to the Grid in Texas. Telecom giant AT&T has signed a long -term virtual electricity purchase agreement for the export of the project.

First energy-subsidiary companies completed 36-hectare solar project in West Virginia

Mon Power and Potomac Edison, subsidiaries of FIRSTEOLEGY CORP., have completed their third solar site on utility scale in West Virginia. More than 17,000 solar panels now produce up to 5.75 MW of renewable electricity on the Marlowe site in Berkeley County.

The new solar facility is located on approximately 36 hectares of business ownership along Interstate 81 and the Potomac River. The site was previously an ASH pouring place for the former R. Paul Smith -power plant. Mon Power and Potomac Edison used 54 local trade union workers for construction on the site.
