Paired powera manufacturer of solar microgrid systems and software, partners with PHNXXan Australia-based designer and manufacturer of modular microgrid systems, to create PairPHNXX, a portable microgrid solution that requires no assembly.

PairPHNXX of paired power supply and PHNXX.

PairPHNXX can be set up and installed in a day to power electrical systems with limited or no grid connection, including ranching and farming operations, construction, mining and military applications. Other applications include emergency management and response and powering off-grid or remote communities that have little to no energy infrastructure.

The Alliance for Tribal Clean Energy, a Native-led 501c3 nonprofit organization supporting Native American tribes’ transition from extractive to renewable energy systems, has accepted PairPHNXX into its Preferred Provider Program. Under the terms of the agreement, Paired Power and PHNXX are now approved partners to provide clean energy solutions to Native American and Aboriginal tribes.

“The global energy transition requires innovative solutions to expand the use of renewable energy faster than the grid allows. Paired Power is a pioneer in providing solar and energy storage systems for electric vehicle charging, and we are now expanding into other microgrid applications with PHNXX,” said Tom McCalmont, CEO of Paired Power. “PairPHNXX ensures clean energy can be generated and deployed where and when it is needed, helping us reach the final frontiers of decarbonization within industries and in locations held back by grid limitations and infrastructure costs. This is about making clean energy truly accessible to everyone, everywhere.”

PairPHNXX comes in the size of a 20-ft ISO shipping container and arrives on the back of a flatbed trailer that can be installed, deployed and generating power in one day. PairPHNXX can be supplied in solar capacities from 46.4 kW, 69.6 kW or 92.8 kW, with battery storage capacities from 42.4 to 636 kWh, and with output power from 30 to 60 kW per container at 208 VAC or 480 VAC three-phase, or 120/240 VAC single phase.

“PairPHNXX brings clean energy to the places the grid has left behind,” said Joel Tay, CEO of PHNXX. “By combining Paired Power’s energy management software with our modular microgrids, we’re delivering renewable energy where it’s needed. From tribal communities and farmers to remote industries and the military, this partnership opens access to resilient clean energy where the grid can’t reach, and we’re just getting started.”
