European developers signed 28 PPAs in April for a total of 1.5 GW. according to the latest report of Pexapark. The total capacity has more than doubled compared to the amount registered by Pexapark Marchmaking April the second strongest month in terms of PPA activity this year.

The second largest renewable energy deal was an onshore wind deal between Alterric and Statkraft, followed by a pay-as-produced 134 MW solar PPA between ib Vogt and Apple in Spain, scheduled to be commissioned by the end of this year to be expected. In total, solar energy accounted for 55% (845 MW) of PPA capacity in April.
