Poland has re -launched its energy for rural areas and offers loans for a maximum of 100% of the installation costs for solar energy in rural areas. The second financing round has a budget of PLN 1 billion ($ 242.6 million).

The Polish government has opened a second round of its energy for rural areas (Energia DLA WSI) program and offers loans and subsidies for the construction of renewable energy projects and agricultural bioga plants in PolandThe countryside.

The second round is now open and runs until December 19, or when funds are exhausted, with a total budget of PLN 1 billion by financing the EU modernization fund.

The program offers loans up to 100% for the construction of solar and wind installations, in addition to subsidies of a maximum of 45% for the construction of biogas and water power plants and subsidies of up to 20% for integrated energy storage facilities.

It is open to farmers, energy cooperatives and members of energy cooperatives that are entrepreneurs.

The first phone call, which was supplied with a budget of PLN 2 billion, has been set to finance seven solar projects together, in addition to four small hydropower projects and 208 Biogas factory projects.

“We expect this effective way to produce energy, often for the own needs of farms, now also enjoy the greatest success,” said Polish Minister of Climate and Environment Paulina Hennig-Kloska. ‘Moreover, we also hope that thanks to the subsidy, more wind turbines, photovoltaic installations and energy storage facilities will be built. We encourage self-consumption of the energy produced. “
