The Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) has announced the launch of Solar Powers America, a new Grassroots Belangenengeveriging platform to enable Americans to stand up for a strong sun policy.
With both chambers of the congress who are preparing to return to Washington to negotiate a budget alignment package, SEIA mobilizes people in communities throughout the country to influence the conversation in Washington. Solarpowersamerica.org Americans are able to contact their representatives to urge support for the federal tax credits that feed the robust energy and production economy of America.
“Solar and storage stimulate American energy and ai -ddominance, support thousands of good jobs, lower energy costs and delivering historical production investments,” said Abigail Ross Hopper, president and CEO of the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA). “The lowering of federal tax credits for clean energy would increase the electricity accounts the next day. This is the time for Americans to make their voices heard while the congress is committed to negotiating a budget package that could increase the energy costs and help the fastest growing energy technologies in America.”
In addition to the debut of Solar Powers America, SEIA is launching a new advertising campaign that focuses on important congress districts. The campaign encourages voters to contact their legislators Solarpowersamerica.org And sketches what can be in danger if federal energy stimuli are withdrawn.
Solar Powers America will serve as the hub for all federal and national grassroots interests of SEIA.
