In a challenging year for large, distributed projects for generating solar energy – between 1 MW and 5 MW in scale and often developed in clusters – and for centralized photovoltaic plants, Sungrow from inverter experienced a decrease in orders.
This has been balanced by new things for the storage products from Sungrow, including pre-aggressions for the LRCAP auction for capacity reserve for batteries.
An expansion of the deadline for centralized generation sites to start with commercial operation – protected by accompanying incentives – has also generated new things for Sungrow, but the inverter expects 2 GW of equipment sale this year for centralized generation, compared to almost 3 GW last year, according to Brazilian Landmanager.
