Talusag starts the production of green ammonia in Iowa – PV Magazine International

Landus and Talusag have launched the production of commercial Green Ammonia in Iowa, supported by American federal clean hydrogen tax credits, while Iberdola España and BP have started building the largest green hydrogen project in Spain, with 25 MW capacity.

TalusagA subsidiary of Talus Renewables has started with commercial green ammonia production in Iowa with the help of what it calls the first and only modular systems in North America. Talusag CEO Hiro Iwanaga said Import tariffs can disrupt the supply chains of fertilizers and American farmers, whereby the emphasis is on the dedication of the company to support local communities with green ammonia produced in their own country. Supported by federal clean hydrogen tax credits, the Talusag system produces up to 20 tons of ammonia per day.
