The German manufacturer Voltfang, who specializes in energy storage on a commercial scale, has expanded the warranty conditions for its storage systems for battery energy.

The company based in Aachen said on Tuesday that an earlier cargo cycle limit that is specified in the 10 -year warranty no longer applies.

Voltfang said that the improved warranty can be offered after systematic analysis of aging mechanisms in real-world operating conditions.

The company said it has developed its EMS, and minimizing new control algorithms cyclical aging of its batteries considerably. That means that according to Voltfang Cycli “no longer have a noticeable impact on capacity.”
