Verogy has completed two solar installations on the rooftops of FedEx facilities in Stratford (866 kW) and Middletown (2,075 kW), Connecticut.

“It has been a privilege to work with FedEx on these impactful solar projects,” said William Herchel, CEO of Verogy. “By embracing renewable energy, FedEx is not only making strides in reducing its carbon footprint but also setting a powerful example for other businesses on how to mitigate the effects of climate change. We are proud to have developed FedEx’s first Connecticut solar installations and look forward to seeing the long-term positive impact these projects will have on our environment.”

“Rooftop solar installations like these two are part of FedEx efforts to source more electricity from renewable energy,” said Lonnie Mattison, manager, Sustainability and Global Vehicles, FedEx. “In working with Verogy to bring our first-ever solar projects in the state of Connecticut online, our facilities in Stratford and Middletown are helping pave the path toward our goal of carbon neutral operations by 2040.”
