NHPC Ltd. Sends 500 MW/1 GWH of standing in itself, with grid-connected battery energy storage systems (BESS) in the Indian state Andhra Pradesh.

The winning projects are eligible for financing the viability, provided by the central government to ensure that infrastructure projects are financially viable.

The BES are charged by the state energy distribution companies, which will use the projects twice a day to meet the morning and evening peak question.
