The European Commission has set up three Horizon Europe partnerships to improve technological competence, industrial strength and environmentally friendly innovation, which can be channeled by almost € 1.1 billion ($ 1.19 billion) to photovoltaic, advanced materials and textile.
The European Commission has introduced three new European partnerships under Horizon Europe to strengthen the technological leadership, industrial resilience and sustainability of the continent. The initiatives will support PV, advanced material and textile, with a combined investment of almost € 1.1 billion from the European Union and the private sector by 2030.

The European Partnership for Innovative Advanced Materials will focus on developing advanced materials that improve industrial competitiveness and sustainability. The European partnership for textile of the future will stimulate sustainability and circularity in the textile industry, to support digital innovations and new business models. It is in line with the EU strategy for sustainable and circular textile and is intended to improve the strategic autonomy of Europe. These partnerships, identified as priorities in the Horizon Europe Strategic Plan 2025-27, are expected to strengthen the competitiveness of the European Union and at the same time promote the efforts for sustainability and energy transition.
