The deadline of the Energy Construction Stock Exchange is 30 May

The Bob Westphal Memorial Scholarship now accepts requests for the 2025-2026 school year. Granted to students who are interested in pursuing a career in energy construction, requests for the $ 2,500 grant on 30 May. Students can submit requests via the Skillsusa website on Skillsusa.org.

The Bob Westphal Memorial Scholarship is a five-year program that was founded in honor of Robert H. Westphal (1944-2020) as a recognition for his impact on the energy construction sector. The program is aimed at helping students who are interested in pursuing a career in the energy construction. This year the fifth and final year will mark that the stock market will be presented.

The fair was founded in 2020 by Benjamin Mediapublisher of Solar builderand continuum capital in collaboration with Skillsusa. The first winners of the fair were awarded for the Academy Year 2021-2022.

This fair honors Westphal, who has committed lifelong leadership in energy construction, while on Michels Corp. In many ways, industry, including leadership positions with industrial associations and in working with labor organizations. The stock market recognizes its estate and contribution to the pipeline industry by encouraging young people to pursue a career in the construction of construction.

Applications can be submitted to anyone who is following a course at a technical/commercial school, community college or university. The price for a person will be a year. Applications are assessed by a selection committee consisting of representatives from Benjamin Media, Continuum Capital, Skillsusa and the Westfal family.

Since 2021, the Bob Westphal Memorial Scholarship has awarded $ 40,000 to students who pursue a career in energy construction. Earlier winners were Gillian Dahn, from Austin, Texas; John Kraft, from Ponchatoula, Louisiana; Timothy Sparks, Van Buckeye, West Virginia; and Nick Swank, from Medina, Ohio, in 2021; Diego Calderon, from Arlington, Texas; Sara Galante, from Syracuse, New York; Kash Landry, Bossier City, Louisiana; and Zach Wynstra, from South Beloit, Illinois, in 2022; Christopher Klay Brinkley, from Pocola, Oklahoma; Gatlin Bunch, Van West Plains, Missouri; Jordan Coon, Van Tupelo, Mississippi; and Korbin Hunt, Van Gillette, Wyoming, in 2023; and Megan Bailey, from Cyprus, Texas; Edmund Bentley, from GaineVille, New York; Colin Everett, from Henderson, Tennessee; and Stone Osborne, Van Hartwell, Georgia, in 2024.
