The sixth edition of the Mój Prąd (My Electricity) program from Poland has assigned a record PLN 1.85 billion ($ 511.8 million).

The discount schedule offers prosumers financing for a Micro -Zonne -Zonne -Zonne -Zonne -Zon -Zon, electricity storage and installation of heat storage. Originally open for applications in September 2024 With a total available PLN 400 million available, the budget for Mój Prąd 6.0 was raised by more than four and a half times to meet his record question.

A total of 121,000 applications were submitted, of which 114,000 those involved in the Micro -Sonne installations. About 74,000 applications asked for subsidies with regard to electricity storage facilities, while more than 20,000 covered funds for heat -oriented facilities.

About PLN, 1 billion of the total budget was asked for energy storage installations. This was the first round of the Mój Prąd program that introduced a required to install electricity and/or energy storage for micro-installations submitted for connection after August 2024.

As a result, the share of energy storage in submitted applications was 60% for Mój Prąd 6.0, compared to 11% in Mój Prąd 5.0 and 4% in Mój pridence 4.0. The average capacity of an energy storage facility subsidized under the Mój Prąd 6.0 program was approximately 5 kWh.

Paweł Augustyn, vice -president of the National Fund of Poland for Environmental Protection and Water Management, said that this upward trend shows the important role that the fund plays in building the energy dependence of prosumers and the safety of the energy system.

He added that this was the first edition of the program that had an application process that lasted more than a year. “Such a long application period gave a broad group of prosumers access to the program,” Augustyn explained.

The scheme is fully funded by the European funds for infrastructure, climate and the environment (Feniks 2021–2027). Since its foundation it has Financing allocated for 3.4 GW of Solar Micro -installations.

A report that was published by Thinktank Ember earlier this month revealed that the cumulative solar capacity of Poland is now more than 23 GW. There were more than 1.5 million solar prosumers in Poland from June this year.
