Sunny will showcase its new liquid-cooled battery energy storage system at the Cleanpower 2024 trade show in Minneapolis this week.

Sungrow’s ESS technology includes liquid cooling to prevent dust and moisture from being drawn into the system, as well as advanced temperature management and fire suppression systems to enable greater control over the system’s internal environmental conditions and reduce the risk of short circuits, improving the highest safety standard is guaranteed.

The PowerTitan 2.0 is an AC storage design with an embedded PCS in a standard 20-ft container. The 5 MWh full liquid energy storage system can be expanded to 10 MWh. Throughout its life, the string PCS facilitates independent charging and discharging of the battery’s energy capacity, resulting in a more than 8% increase in the system’s discharged capacity. In addition, the pre-integrated and modular BESS is certified according to UL 9540.

“As a system solutions provider, we are able to achieve tight integration that is reliably repeatable, high quality and secure at the system level to meet strict third-party guidelines,” said Hank Wang, president of Sungrow Americas. “This holistic approach minimizes the inherent risks associated with complex integrations.”
