Battery maker Socomec claims that its new SOLIVE PRO software can detect demolition mechanisms and potential safety risks in battery energy storage systems (BESS) for up to nine months before problems occur.

The Bess monitoring platform has been developed for the SunSys series of the company as a result of the acquisition of SOCOMEC from Startup PowerUp.

Socomec says that Solive Pro uses AI-based algorithms to offer deeper insights into the health and safety status of batteries.
