The German renewable energy company Enpal has launched a new heat pump designed for residential use, aimed at single -family homes and older buildings with high heating requirements.

The system, made in China, is a mono block heat pump that uses propane (R290) as a coolant. It has an A +++ efficiency assessment and is available in five versions, with power outputs ranging from 8 kW to 16 kW.

According to Enpal, the unit can reach the power temperatures of up to 80 ° C, making it suitable for houses with a limited radiator surface. However, the company said that such high temperatures are only intended for exceptional cases, with a typical processing expected between 35 C and 55 ° C, which makes annual performance factors above 3 possible.

The heat pump can be controlled via the Enpal app and is integrated into Enpal One, the company’s internal energy management system. Enpal Men adapts to the heating habits of residents, while taking into account the energy flow of households, including battery storage, solar output on the roof and EV loading stations.

Enpal is planning to further optimize efficiency by adding the integration of the weather forecast and including the heat pumps in its virtual power plant (VPP).

“With our new heat pump, we not only expand our offer, but we also form the entire value chain of development and installation to a 10-year warranty with regular maintenance. This means that our customers receive everything from one source,” said Benjamin Merle-Oberheide, product manager at Enpal.

The company offers maintenance on site every two years, supported by digital external monitoring to detect potential problems early and to lower service costs.
