Market information company RHO Motion, the Stream -Opwaartse Arm of Benchmark Mineral Intelligence, says that the 7.95 GW / 22.2 GWH of the new Global Global Battery Energy Storage System (Bess) has followed that entering commercial activities in June 2025.

According to the “Battery Energy Stationary Storage monthly database” just worked by the company, this capacity of June represents the highest monthly figure in 2025 so far and almost 20% has risen compared to the previous month. The data shows that more than half of the June installations were concentrated in China, which maintained the dominance of the country in the worldwide market for energy storage.

The global capacity used for the first half of 2025 culminates up to 86.7 GWH from the capacity of Battery Energy Storage System (Bess), which represents an increase of 54%on an annual basis. The company’s pipeline data indicate that the entire year 2025 currently follows just over 412 GWH of planned implementations.
