The manufacturer of the Australian solar module Tindo Solar will want to solve the domestic production capacity after securing the financing by the $ 1 billion Zonne -Zonne program of the federal government.

Tindo will use the financing, which includes a production production credit (MPC) and a capital subsidy to upgrade its Mawson Lakes facility in the northern suburbs of Adelaide, which scales the annual output from 20 MW to 180 MW.
The Australian Renewable Energy Agency (Arena), which manages the Solar Sunshot program, said that supporting investments in automation and expands Tindo’s product range “to record premium N-type solar modules.” It will also support a feasibility study for a future gigafactory Able to produce 1 GW solar panels annually.
