ACWA Power, Sefe to deliver Green H2 to Europe – PV Magazine International

ACWA Power works together with Sefe to set up a hydrogen bridge between Saudi Aarabia and Germany, while the Danish government has committed up to $ 1.1 billion to develop a new hydrogen pipeline.

ACWA Power And Sefe agreed to producing and transporting green hydrogen from Saudi Arabia to Europe. They want to deliver 200,000 tons annually in 2030. ACWA -Stroom said It will lead the development, investments and operation of green hydrogen and ammonia production activa, while Sefe co-investing and serving as the primary offtaker.

The Danish Government has announced new initiatives to support the hydrogen market, including the delivery of billions of Danish Krone to set up hydrogen infrastructure from Esbjerg, Denmark, to the German border, with a first booking capacity of 0.5 GW. The government said it is planning to make export from hydrogen to Germany possible in 2030 and is considering expanding the pipeline to the north and east of Jutland in the following phases.

ITM Said that it was contracted by an unknown European energy company to jointly develop a standard design for a 10 MW of green hydrogen production -factory, with the aim of implementing this configuration in several British projects. The design integrates two Neptune V-Plug-and-Play 5 MW containerized electrolyzer systems, using the Trident Stack technology from ITM. ITM CEO Dennis Schulz said that the agreement further confirms Neptune V if the clear leader in his class and the customer will enable the customer to quickly use projects in the United Kingdom.

Hydrogen Tank solutions Works together with Toyota Motor Europe and Engie to develop Twin Mid Flow (TMF) technology, with the aim of reducing refueling times and installation costs for hydrogen infrastructure. Hydrogen Tank solutions said That TMF technology has a double mouthpiece, so that a single hydrogen dispenser can refuel in less than 10 minutes of heavy vehicles and in less than five minutes of light vehicles, according to Engie. The project is part of the Rheadhy initiative supported by the European Union, with first tests planned for the end of 2025 on the HRS test site in Champagne, France.
