American battery supplier Powin files for bankruptcy – PV Magazine International

LFP battery supplier Powin, based in Oregon, has submitted bankruptcy protection in New Jersey for Chapter 11.

Last week, the battery industry indicated Local and government officials for a possible stopping of business activities warn that nearly 250 employees, including senior executives, could be dismissed if the operating conditions did not improve by July 28.

Powin had to issue the notification at least 60 days before planned closures or dismissals, as an employer with at least 100 employees.
