Australian Venture shifts 6.5 MW Solar-Plus-Storage Project Op-PV Magazine International

Vibe Energy, an Australian energy and infrastructure company, has reinforced the Nhill Renewable Energy Facility (NREF), the Joint Venture with Victoria-based Regional Water Authority GWMWater.

South Australia’s Vibe Energy and Victoria’s GWM water have ratified their joint venture, the NREF. The facility, located 380 km northwest of Melbourne, includes a solar farm of 6.5 MW with 9,000 panels and a battery storage system of 2.75 MW/6.7 MWh, connected to the local grid in Nhill, Victoria.

Gwmwater said the project will be Compensate 70% of its energy consumption On 330 sites, in support of its goals of 100% renewable electricity by 2025 and net zero emissions by 2035. The next generation of electricity is the engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractor.

The first construction phase in the NREF started in 2024 and is the first company of GWMWater in Large -scale energy generation With direct connection with the local electricity grid.

The NREF, together with solar generation installed on 59 other GWMwater locations, will enable GWMwater to become self-sufficient by generating the energy needed to operate its services with less dependence on the electricity of the grid.
