EagleView aerial imagery integrates with Aurora Solar

EagleViewan aerial imagery and analytics provider, delivers EagleView Powered models through the Aurora solar energy platform to improve to help solar energy designers in the residential market.

Solar energy professionals rely on 3D roof models to accurately predict the final details of project installation and solar energy production for homeowners. The quality of these 3D models is essential to reduce unnecessary costs in the solar installation process, improve the speed of installations and increase homeowners’ confidence that the return on investment of solar PV systems in the will be accurate over time.

“We understand that improvements in costs and confidence are essential to the growth and healthy functioning of the solar industry,” said Piers Dormeyer, CEO of EagleView. “We know we can help solve this challenge as we enter our third decade doing exactly the same thing in roofing and insurance.”

EagleView’s has produced over 3 billion images with the capacity to utilize oblique and orthogonal views now integrated with Aurora. The company has third-party contractor clients across the country and works with a range of insurance companies in the sector.
