Fluence-a joint venture between Siemens and AES Corp.- has a new, automated production facility for the storage of batteries in Vietnam opened with ACE engineering established in South Korea. The site is designed to produce the solutions of the Fluence energy storage, including Gridstack Pro And Smart stack.

The facility in the province of Bac Giang in Vietnam has an expected annual production capacity of 35 GWH. It marks a large extension of Fluence’s production possibilities in response to the growing global demand.

“This facility builds on our deep strategic relationship with ACE engineering and takes us to the next level of excellence of production,” said Julian Nebeda, President and CEO at Fluence.
