FranklinWH Energy Storage has unveiled the newest addition to his Apower Lithium-Iron Phosphate Energy Storage series, the Apower S. The new residential battery has a capacity of 15 kWh and 15-year warranty. It is also the first battery of FranklinWH that use Gen 2-grid cells that generate more than 10,000 cycles.

Apower S contains a hybrid inverter, which connects PV panels directly via DC, while AC -current is supplied to the house, so that the installation is simplified. Business representatives claim that the simplified wiring solutions of the new battery only take 15 minutes to complete, and the battery can be used in five minutes via the FranklinWH app.

Apower S has four 15-a MPPTS and offers 8 kW loading power and 10 kW discharge power. FranklinWH’s AC-linked architecture makes storage per agate up to 225 kWh. The new Apower S has a capacity of 15 kWh and a transit of 60 MWh.

FranklinWH has started producing the Apower 2 battery unit in California separately.

“This marks our first step in American production, a milestone that reflects our dedication to strengthen domestic production and at the same time stimulate innovation in energy storage,” said Gary Lam, co-founder and CEO of FranklinWH.
