Market information company RHO Motion, the power -retarded arm of Benchmark Mineral Intelligence, says that the almost 9 GWH of the new Global Global Battery Energy Storage System (Bess) followed that commercial activities introduced in April 2025. This came from a total of 3,333 MW/8,890 MWh of grid -scale projects.

According to RHO Motion’s “Battery Energy Stationary Storage monthly database”, this April capacity is 13% higher than in 2024, although it marks the lowest implementation month in 2025 so far, possible because of the seasonal’s seasonal. The data also indicates that global implementations were more evenly distributed over geolocations than during the first quarter of the year.
