Sermatec has announced that it is now able to produce its Serattice series 6.25 MWh containerized energy storage system with 587 AH battery cells in the serattice.

This modular container of 20 feet (6,058 mm × 2.438 mm × 2.896 mm) integrates battery modules, thermal management, fire protection, power conversion and control electronics in a compact form that is suitable for grid, useful and renewable energy hybrid locations.

The system is designed with a layered safety architecture that includes real-time cell health monitoring, BMS-compatible early warnings and error diagnostics, along with at battery module level at the level of the module. It can resist the exposure of the fire brigade for two hours, which can cause the spread of thermal runner to be threatened. Sermatec emphasizes its Driekwijk fire protection design, which combines smoke, temperature and flammable gas sensors with its own safety warning box that is reportedly detecting drawing thermal runner more than half an hour in advance.
