Sungrow launches fully integrated C&I Battery – PV Magazine International

With a fully integrated Power Conversion System (PCS), Battery Management System (BMS) and Energy Management System (EMS), PowerStack 255CS has intended to streamline energy storage activities and at the same time reduce installation complexity.

China’s Sungrow has introduced its latest innovation-the PowerStack 255Cs, a liquid-cooled battery energy storage system (BESS) that is specially designed for commercial and industrial (C&I) applications. Unveiled on the Global Renewable Energy Summit 2025 (Gres2025) in Hefei, China, the system focuses on long -term implementation -challenges in the C&I sector and offers a compact and very scalable solution.

The PowerStack 255Cs integrate a PCs with a three -phase design, BMS and EMS in a uniform housing, which significantly improves the installation and the operation. It has the innovative grid-forming technology of Sungrow, which guarantees stability, even in complex raster environments, as well as off-grid effect, to support 100% unbalanced taxes without external transformers.
