Tindo presents new 475 W Full-Black Residential Solar Panel-PV Magazine International

Tindo Solar, the only producer of PV modules from Australia, has officially released a new generation of Topcon N-type solar panels, including a completely black version with an output of 475 W and conversion efficiency of 21.9%.

The based manufacturer of Adelaide, Tindo Solar, said that his newest Walara product, based on tunneloxide-passivated contact (topcon) N-type technology, is available in a 440 W version and a 475 W panel that is a completely black, seamless product.

The manufacturer said the new Walara G4P 475 W All-Black Panel has a power conversion efficiency of 21.9 and while the 440 W panel has efficiency of 22.6%.

“Both new panels are the most powerful solar panels on the roof that have been produced in Australia so far,” Tindo said. “The N-type Celchemy means more power, and the size sees the absorption of a slightly larger solar cell and an increase in the bus from 10 to 16 that increases efficiency.”

The 440 W version measures 1,722 mm x 1.133 mm x 35 mm and weighs 21 kg. The open circuit voltage is 39.99 V and the short -circuit current is 13.9 A. The larger panel measures 1,910 mm x 1.133 mm x 35 mm and weighs 23.5 kg. The open circuit voltage is 43.92 V and the short -circuit current is 13.68 A.

The panel is housed in an anodized aluminum alloy frame and 3.2 mm tempered glass. The connecting box has an IP68 rating and Tindo said that the Walara panels are tested independently on cyclone, hail, moist heat and a thermal range from -40˚ to 85˚ Celsius.

The manufacturer offers a 25-year product guarantee and a 25-year performance guarantee that guarantees that the power is no less than 87.4% of the nominal output power.

Tindo Chief Executive Officer Richard Petterson said that the new Clean Energy Council -Outdoed Walara Panels are a product of the internal engineering and R&D efforts of the company, combined with input from installers, external research teams and the best technology from Global Supply Chains.

The Walara 440 W Solar Panel is now available for order via Tindo’s Distribution Partners, while the 475 W Black Solar Panel will be available from next month.

The launch of the new panels follows last week’s announcement that Tindo $ 34.5 million (USD 22.34 million) has obtained the financing of the federal government to upgrade its Adelaide production facility and upgrade Boost the production of solar module from 20 MW to 180 MW per year.

Tindo said that the upgrade of the Mawson Lakes facility will introduce advanced automation and make the production of premium N-type modules possible to measure for Australian conditions.
