Serious explosion took place in Schönberg, in the German state of Schleswig-Holstein on Wednesday afternoon. A residential building was badly damaged with a whole outside wall.

The voluntary fire brigade of Schönberg reported a loud bang followed by a pressure wave. Thick smoke then rose. The fire was quickly brought under control, although Sintels continued to flare, according to a spokesperson for the fire brigade questioned by PV -Magazine.

The structural stability of the building was checked yesterday at the time of writing, and an environment was closed off.
