Enterprise Energy announced that the Minnesota Department of Commerce has granted the developer capacity for two community projects for the community of a total of 11 MWDC Located in Montevideo and Cottage Grove, Minnesota. These are in particular the first multi-megawatt projects that have been approved in the context of the accessible community Solar Garden Program of the state with low and moderate incomes (LMI).

The LMI accessible community Solar Garden Program, managed by the Minnesota Department of Commerce, aims to expand access to solar energy for households with low and moderate income. These projects are committed to at least 55% of the subscribers that are customers with a low or moderate income. This cooperation is intended to strengthen career seekers from disadvantaged communities by offering opportunities in the field of training and employment in the growing clean energy sector.
